Wacky Witch Festival in Dalry

The Wacky Witch Festival will take place from the Monday 20th - Saturday 25th September. Look out for information which will be posted around the town.

Decorate your garden with a Wacky Witch, the judging will take place on Monday 20th and there are vouchers up for grabs. 1st Prize £50, 2nd £30 and 3rd £15 entry forms can be picked up from Woodsides or BeGreen.

On Tuesday 21st there will be a Bat Walk, meet at The Cross at 6.45pm for a short walk to see the bats and find out all the things you ever wanted to know about them. It's enough to drive you "batty".

On Sat 25th either dress up as witch (or wizard) or print out the witch from the following website and decorate her and bring her along.  www.dltk-holidays.com  - remember the wackier the better.

The parade will start at Smith Street at 12.45pm and the judging of the best wacky witch will take place at The Cross.  Free ice cream for kids and face-painting will also be available.  Look out for special offers from the shops and late night opening on Thursday 23rd.
