The owners of Blair House near Dalry have given details of the planned sale of the house – including the auction of most of its contents.
In an open letter, the current owners of the house, Luke and Caroline Borwick have updated the news on what’s happening at the house, and with some information on the sale of the contents of the house.
The letter said: “You may have heard that Blair House is changing hands from the family in March 2012.
“It has indeed been a difficult decision for our family to make, however, we feel this is the right time to pass the ownership of this unique home to a new family, who we know will love, cherish and enjoy it, as much as we have.
“For those who have an interest in the Blair historical collection, please have a look at the short video attached to this email, as most of the contents from the Castle will be available for sale through Lyon & Turnbull, Edinburgh.
“Please share this information and video with your friends, family and colleagues so hopefully they, or yourself, have the opportunity to own and enjoy a special piece of Scottish history.
