Hi Billy,
Yes that's exactly what we need to do! As soon as there are enough people in Dalry who care to do something, we'll organise some events. We're hoping to arrange a screening of one of the excellent 'peak oil' films that are now available, as well as some public talks, so more people understand just how serious the coming crisis is, and so we can start to figure out the best way to deal with them. And the town councillors would definitely be invited.
This IS all about the people of Dalry after all!

What has happened to Transition Town Dalry, has it now flown the cuckoo's nest? You never hear what is going on with them now.
I've recently posted on the Beith site attempting to generate interest in Transition Towns and would be happy to help set up a public meeting for the towns to discuss a way forward with this. I have some ideas and a wee bit of interest but the concept needs more people to take part to make it happen. I'd like us to bring it together. Can we talk?

Why don't the people behind Transition Town Dalry come out from behind their computers and arrange a public debate about what issues you are concerned with, perhaps in Dalry Town Hall (maybe)? You might want to invite some of the " TOON" Councillors alang tae it to gie their ain opinion, theres a guid idea!!!!
