DALRY BASED SING AND SIGN

For babies and toddlers age 6 to 18 months.


"Sing and Sign" classes combine a music group with the chance to learn some really useful signs that will encourage communication with your child.   The classes run for an hour and use toys, props, instruments along with nursery rhymes and songs to teach signs that you can then take home and practice together.  Around 35 - 40 minutes of the class time is Singing and Signing time with the last part giving everyone a chance to socialising. 

Babies begin to use a combination of gestures and sounds in attempts to make themselves understood from an early age. For example babies may point, shake their heads for "no" or wave "bye bye".  
Sing and Sign classes enhance these attempts to communicate by introducing signing in a relaxed easy to learn way which can help to support and extend a baby's naturally developing communication skills.

We also have time for socialising (parents and babies!) at the end of class.
